Roasted Broccoli
Maybe this recipe is an "old one" for you. Well, I discovered this when doing the Whole 30 last year, and it's such a treat anytime, but especially when your foods are extremely limited. You NEED to try this, even if you don't like broccoli. My husband never liked broccoli, but now he craves this. I'm not kidding! I buy my broccoli in bulk we go through so much of it. 😂 Costco has bags of it already cut up and washed. Lifesaver! That's why I make it so often, because it doesn't take time! You can also do this recipe with a mix of cauliflower and broccoli.
- I use a large sheet pan, and fill it up completely. I personally like to cut my broccoli in smaller pieces because it gets more crispy and more done.
- Drizzle with olive or avocado oil (I use avocado). The amount depends on preference.
- Sprinkle with garlic powder & salt. Once again, the amount is whatever your preference is. The more you make it the more you'll know. :)
- Bake @ 425 for 15-20 minutes, or to your liking. I like it when it's just starting to get a little brown.
We love it a little browned, and it's crispy that way! |
Broccoli majorly cooks down This pan was full, and cooked down to this pile! |
